Parking To Be Discussed at Neighborhood Meeting

The future of parking near Venice Beach is among the topics slated to be discussed at Tuesday's Venice Neighborhood Councilmeeting.
    As part of Tuesday's meeting, the proposedovernight parking districts settlement in Venice will be addressed.
    The council has also studied issues surrounding the Santa Monica Airport, in particular, for more than three years. There will be a separate, public forum on Saturday, April 27, to discuss the health impact of the airport as well as safety concerns, the possible closing of Santa Monica Airport by 2015, the possibility of eliminating flight schools and banning jets.
    The Venice Neighborhood Council meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster Elementary School Auditorium located at 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice.
